Important Update: MLL Leavers Event Postponed
Saturday 6th June 2026
Dear Parents, Players and Supporters,
We wanted to provide an update regarding the Morden Little League Leavers Event that was planned for Saturday 13 June 2026.
Firstly, thank you to everyone who has supported the event, purchased tickets, donated raffle prizes or helped promote it. We know many players and families were looking forward to celebrating together, and we have been incredibly grateful for the support shown.
After reviewing the current position and discussing a number of options with the Executive Committee and Sutton United, We have made the difficult decision to postpone this year's event.
Whilst we are naturally disappointed that we won't be celebrating together this June, we genuinely believe this is the right decision. Rather than rushing ahead, this gives us the opportunity to create something even more special for our players, families and volunteers.
The event will now be rebranded as an End of Season Celebration and is planned to take place in May 2027.
This will give us time to properly plan, secure sponsorship, raise additional funds and create an occasion that truly reflects the achievements, friendships and memories made during our players' Morden Little League journey.
For those who have already purchased tickets, thank you for your support and understanding.
Full refunds have now been processed and you should receive the full payment back to your account within 7 working days. If you have any issues please email MLL.OnlineStoreManagers@mordenlittleleague.com.
As a small token of appreciation, those families will receive an invitation to next year's celebration event.
We would also like to thank everyone who has kindly donated raffle prizes or offered support. We will be reviewing these arrangements over the coming weeks and will provide an update in due course.
Thank you again for your understanding, patience and continued support of Morden Little League. We are excited about the opportunity to create something really memorable next season and look forward to sharing more details as plans develop.
