About the Morden Youth League division

Now entering its third successful year, the Morden Youth League continues to thrive as part of the Morden Little League family. Open to boys in School Years 9 and 10, it gives players the chance to enjoy competitive football in a supportive, community-focused environment.

We’re delighted to welcome back returning players alongside a strong intake of new joiners. With six teams at full capacity, enthusiasm for the Youth League continues to grow each season — a real testament to the players, families, and volunteers who make it such a success.

What makes the Youth League different?

Matches are played as competitive 11-a-side football on full-size adult pitches, with independent FA referees. Players also take more responsibility for themselves, and there is a £50 registration fee to help cover pitch and referee costs. All league communication and fixtures are managed through SPOND, keeping everyone up to date throughout the season.

Last season ended in dramatic fashion, with the Cardinal Chiefs crowned league champions and Aragon Athletic lifting the Youth Cup. Here’s to another exciting season ahead!
